I originally started drawing using pencil and paper like how many start. I found out about digital art and soon followed suit. Many of my earlier works show how far I have come since then. The characters I draw have also grown up with me. From looking like children to looking like teenagers.
This piece is one of my first ever pieces using my current iPad using the program, Ibis Paint . The colors are more blended and there are no hard highlights or shadows in the piece either.
I am usually expired late a night. I think of scenarios and then create one singular scene to tell the story. If possible, I try to sketch out the idea before I go to sleep. Much of my inspirations come from other artists and from the shows or books I have been reading. Such inspiration is from Boku No Hero Academia, by Kohei Horikoshi.
Having the time to draw has been very difficult. Balancing life and art is always a struggle.
Learning the programs I use was also very hard. I still don't fully know the capacity the programs I use to draw and go to.
Understanding the basics of art was and still is a difficult path. Shading and lighting comes almost naturally now, but it was never like that at the beginning. I still struggle with anatomy for humans and creatures. Getting perspectives right for scenery is also quite difficult. As well as creating a good looking 3D object.
Even so, I still push through and take the time and effort to create beautiful pieces.
My main program from digital art is Procreate, an app for apple users, especially for those with an iPad.
Other programs I have used in the past include, Ibis Paint X, Megabang Paint, Kira, Adobe Photoshop, and Paint Tool SAI.
